On leaving school I attended catering college for 2 years where I gained a Catering Diploma from Eastbourne College of Arts & Technology

Over the next 15 years I worked in various food orientated establishments finally working my way up to management,at this point I became blessed with Motherhood and needed to make some major changes, it was at this time I decided to set my own business up making Jams & Chutneys. I started at the “Made in Shropshire” market held  in Shrewsbury once

a month and due to it’s great success, Heathers Harvest was born. I subsequently expanded and joined the “Heart of England” fine foods, attending their Markets, Festivals and shows. Heather’s Harvest now supply several local shops, deli’s and tea rooms along with Hotels and Pubs within Shropshire.All my produce is hand made using the greatest care, the finest ingredients and in small batches, where possible I source many of the ingredients locally from Shropshire farmers markets to ensure freshness and provide a more intense and fuller flavour.

Heather can be found in the Shrewsbury Market on the first Friday of every month and the “Made in Shropshire Market” on the second Saturday of every month. Heather is also a qualified chef and can provide catering for functions.
